Clothing tips, hurry hurry hurry

I’ve just been reading about the style blogger Susie Lau, who posts every night to say what she’s thinking of wearing the next morning. Apparently she gets 10,000 hits a day! Just for telling people what she’s going to wear! Ever mindful of site traffic, I’ve decided to do something similar and see if it affects numbers.
So, this is what I have in mind, for my heat in the European Open poker tournament tomorrow.
It might go on a long time, so I’ve chosen a dress which is smart yet relaxed and easy to wear.
I’ll team that with a nice pair of comfortable shoes and obviously some sort of hat.
It can get chilly in the studio, so I’ll take along a warm jacket just in case.
And my makeup is still in progress.
What can I tell you? I just have a natural knack for throwing an outfit together. I’m going to look great. But the sad fact is, however much effort I make, in any poker tournament I know I’ll never look as good as the boys.

I’m no expert on clothes Victoria but those boots are gonna clash terribly with that dress. No wonder you’re not getting as much TV work as you should.

All with the PokerStars logo though, I hope.
The bloke is pretty spot-on from what i’ve seen from late night poker viewing on various obscure Sky channels. He isn’t entirely accurate though, surely? He’s clearly lacking a pair of killer shades. Though I know they’re not favoured by you, VC.

I may be a little pissed (if I’m not, Waitrose will have a give-me-my-money-back situation tomorrow) but that had me laughing out loud, even before I saw the photo of your brother.

Victoria, nothing to do with clothing, but these people need your help, as a poker player and etymology star

see the last posting, asking where the poker terms hole, flop, turn and river come from ...

I think a combo of just the hat and the boots will have most of the male players distracted which should help with your odds….lol

Have you been drinking?

Not a fashion clue here but…. the chandelier might cause a problem or two at the poker table and certainly the swinging from it would, I’d have thought.
The Hat is spot on and I like the boots. On a corny note, I’d have thought for poker that not too loose and not too tight is the thing?

That hat would be good for chip tricks - start them at the top and then let them roll around it until they drop out onto the table in front of you.

No, I think that tight is right in orange thigh-high boots and poker alike !

I much prefer it loose. You get to see more flops that way.
