My mother says I’ve been swearing too much in my column lately. She’s going to hate this one.

I think twat is a much underestimated swear word. I have a colleague at work who will catch you with an evil eye and spit out a TWAT with all the impact of any of the more commonly used swear words.

I`m extremely shocked that YOU with your intelligence had to use the words” twat” and “twattiishness” (is that really a word).
I expect it from some teenaged girl with no education!
But not from you!
I also thought it was abit sexist!

Interesting word ‘nincompoop’

I haven’t seen it often - it looks funny, weird. Most apt.

I recently read ‘Practical Poker Math’, can you tell it’s American? Well in there they use the word ‘boat’. Now, I’ve never heard this in the context of poker. A boat is a full house - weird. What has a boat got to do with a full house? What the hell has 3 and 2 of something got to do with either a house or a boat?
Anyway, the book ain’t bad, simpler to understand than the mind warping ‘The Mathematics of Poker’
