OC for Children In Need 2015

Tonight on Only Connect (at its current earlier time of 7.30pm on BBC Two), it’s the Children In Need special!
This year, the rival team captains are former members of The Mary Whitehouse Experience, those excellent comedians David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis.
It’s an all-round impressive line-up of clever and quizzy public figures: David is joined by Clemency Burton-Hill and Philip Hensher to form The Music Monkeys; Hugh is bolstered by Bonnie Greer and AN Wilson to make The Chess Pieces.

And you said BBC2 wouldn’t change you - I recognise *three* of those celebrities! It’s virtually panto!

Wonderful entertainment. Unlike previous “celebrity” editions, the contestants seemed to have watched OC before and had an idea of what’s required…. though my clearest memory of the show will be my shouting “You can toss them!” at the screen - probably loud enough for the neighbours to hear. Oh well….. never mind!
