Heresy 6
Wednesday, 23 June 2010
This is the final episode in the series, your last chance to hear Heresy for a year (or, perhaps, ever)*.
(*I say that. They usually repeat it at some point).
Anyway the final line-up has RUFUS HOUND, CLIVE ANDERSON and FERN BRITTON arguing against the received opinions
IT’S OKAY TO DOWNLOAD A BIT OF FILM AND MUSIC WITHOUT PAYING
THERE ARE TOO MANY CELEBRITY CHEFS
and
JORDAN’S MARRIAGE WON’T LAST.
Do you agree with all those statements? Will you still agree when you’ve heard the panel arguing against them? Only one way to find out…

It’s the best programme by far in the 6.30 comedy slot on the Home Service, even though there are moments when it swerves off comedy and heads alarmingly towards philosophy.
I don’t hold that against it.
I’ll be looking forward to series 8.

Yes it was the best thing on radio 4, and bring back Baddiel’s “the book quiz”.

another great series Vicki. you could teach some other presenters a thing or two about letting the panellists talk. i have warmed to rufus hound a lot since hearing him on the program. i think people are more relaxed on the radio and you obviously put them at ease.
i would love to rant about the piracy thing, but will just point out that the “music industry” is an oxymoron, if ever there was one, and acts like it.
