Women Talking About Cars
Tuesday, 5 September 2017
This Thursday, September 7th, Women Talking About Cars comes back to BBC Radio Four! It’ll be on Thursdays at 6.30pm for four weeks. I really love this series - and it’s all recorded: we had four wonderful guests, plus more fantastic contributions from the audience. One of the things I love most about the experience of making it is that the audience really get the tone of the show and are always very articulate and funny themselves.
The first episode features Sheila Hancock and she was just fantastic. I’m very proud of the resulting show, I found her words in places very moving as well as funny. I hope you like it.

Mrs. Mitchell,
I am writing to you to tell you my father bought Sheila Hancock’s Morgan she mentioned in your interview in 1974. It is alive and well and has been restores twice. We would love to show her pictures and stories. If you could let her know we would love to share with her.
