On Friday 3rd June, Victoria will be talking about her book and life in poker with Rosie Boycott at the Hay festival in Hay-on-Wye. Tickets for this event are now sold out, but it will be filmed for broadcast on Sky Arts on Thursday June 16th at 8pm (and then repeated at sporadic times on Sky Arts over the next few days).
In the week of June 15th, Victoria will be writing an article for a special edition of the New Statesman edited by the Archbishop of Canterbury, in front of whom (Observer readers may remember) she managed to embarrass herself quite significantly at Christmas.
After that, Victoria will be off to Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker. She’s currently planning to play the main event and a couple of side events, depending on form. And the weather. She’s heard it might be hot.
