Jack Of All Trades, Mistress Of ?
Friday, 1 March 2013
After a relatively quiet February, Victoria’s got a slightly ridiculous juggling match going on through March, with all her hats on at once. (Do jugglers wear hats? She’s picturing something a bit like a jester’s headpiece, perhaps without the bells).
On March 1st, she’ll be a panellist on Eight Out Of Ten Cats (Channel 4, 9pm), with an extended version on Wednesday March 6th around 11pm.
On March 4th, she’ll be hosting a poker masterclass at the launch of the new live PokerStars cardroom at the Hippodrome in London, to kick off the London Poker Festival (which she’ll be talking about on the Robert Elms show on LBC at 12.15 on the same day), after which Victoria will be getting stuck into a ten-day series of UKIPT and EPT tournaments, and hugely looking forward to it.
UPDATE: VC made the final table of the UKIPT High Roller event, AND the final table of the main EPT High Roller event. For full results, see the poker results page.
On March 11th is the Only Connect special episode for Comic Relief! Guest names will be [UPDATE: ARE!] posted on the blog the day before.
Meanwhile, Victoria is making a documentary about the history of BBC TV Centre, to be broadcast as part of the special gala programme Goodbye, TV Centre on BBC Four, screened on the evening of March 22nd.
She’s not getting much sleep.
