London Poker Festival In Full Flow

The London Poker Festival continues into October. Victoria will play the Main Event, High Roller and £2000 NLH events [update: VC was on the bubble of the £2k, finishing 17th of 147 when 16 got paid, and is most annoyed about it.] [new update: she has cheered up after a 3rd place finish in a PokerStars.com tournament, see blog for details].
Also on offer for players at the EPT London poker festival are a 6-max, a Hi-Lo, two Ladies’ Events and a charity tournament, £100 + £10 (with rebuys) in aid of Cancer Research: a great opportunity to join in this series for a relatively small buy in and a good cause. All the poker is taking place at the Hilton Metropole in London and players can buy in there; for the full schedule and details, take a look here.
Once she’s finished in London, Victoria will be off to Cardiff to play Late Night Poker; that episode will be screened on Channel 4 late in the evening of October 19th.
Victoria will also be appearing on Have I Got News For You on October 14th (and the extended version on BBC2 on October 16th).
Only Connect, of course, continues on BBC 4, every Monday night at 8.30pm.
