In August, a new series of Only Connect is being made for broadcast in the autumn, including a few intriguing one-off specials, of which more details at a later date.
At the end of the month, Victoria will be jumping back onto the European Poker Tour with the enticing EPT Vilamoura, and hoping to make the UKIPT Edinburgh in between, if possible - at least for a visit, if not to play.
VC would strongly recommend the UKIPT Edinburgh to any recreational poker players who fancy trying a big tournament: it runs from August 19-22, coinciding with the Edinburgh Festival, a great time to be in that city. It is reasonably priced for a major event (£500 + £50 fee) but you should try to win cheap seats on PokerStars which is running regular satellites.
