Only Connect, the world’s hardest quiz, continues on Monday evenings at 8.30pm on BBC Four - straight after University Challenge on BBC Two if you fancy the Knowledge Double.
Heresy, presented on Radio 4 by Victoria Coren, will be repeated from August 4th, every Tuesday night at 11pm (Radio 4). Not sure which of the two series is being repeated - possibly both - but they were both funny and had great guests, so worth tuning in if you missed them the first time.
On Tuesday 25th August, VC will be a guest on Charlie Brooker’s You Have Been Watching, Channel 4 at 10pm.
Meanwhile, the book is finally finished! Not a joke this time. Really is. For Richer, For Poorer: A Love Affair With Poker will be published in September, so Victoria is spending August doing press interviews, writing advance pieces, and worrying. The book can be pre-ordered on Amazon here and there will be more details about it on this site in September, closer to publication. A lot more.
As for playing poker, there are no big live events this month but, hurray, a new series of Late Night Poker will be filmed in Cardiff at the end of August. Until then, Victoria will be trying to beat the sit & go’s on PokerStars.
