“Only Connect” returns, Mondays at 8.30pm on BBC Four

The world’s most difficult quiz show is back! The fiendish Only Connect, hosted by Victoria Coren, in which teams of geniuses struggle to connect clues which appear, on face value, to have nothing in common at all, returns to BBC Four on Monday nights from July 13th. University Challenge is coming back to BBC2 the same night, so watch that first and then, irritated by how laughably easy you found the questions, flick straight over at 8.30 for something properly taxing.
Meanwhile, Victoria is in Las Vegas, contesting the World Series of Poker main event from the fourth of July.
