New Only Connects announced!

BBC Four have just announced that a new series of Only Connect will be filmed in December and January for broadcast early 2010. If you want to have a shot, if you think you have a team smart enough to take part, email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
There is one episode left unbroadcast of the last batch: the grand final, Champion of Champions, a battle between the winners of series one and series two. This has no broadcast date yet but will be on BBC Four in the Christmas season.
Victoria kicked off October by finishing on the bubble of the High Roller event at the London EPT - finishing tenth when eight players made the final. Most annoying. Sadly, she did not have a repeat win in the EPT main event (which she won in 2006) but went on to play the $10,000 Heads Up Grand Slam for Sky TV where she was proud to beat the current World Champion of poker Peter Eastgate. Unfortunately she was then knocked out by fiendish Finn Juha Helppi.
The new book is selling well and has had some great reviews (some of which are on the books page of this site) so do consider investing if you haven’t already.
Victoria will be a guest on Midweek (Radio 4) on October 14th and Sky News on October 18th, writing her normal columns and then disappearing for a while due to, oddly enough, jury service.
