On Friday May 6th, Victoria will be appearing on Have I Got News For You (9pm on BBC One, then presumably on Dave at random times of the night for years afterwards).
After that, from May 7th to May 12th, she’ll be heading to the EPT Grand Final which is happening this year, for the first time, in Madrid! Victoria is staying on for a special Champion of Champions tournament on May 13th, where all the winners from seven seasons of the European Poker Tour will be taking each other on in a unique match.
Meanwhile, the Spring Championship of Online Poker kicks off on May 8th and runs until May 22nd on PokerStars: three tournaments per night, at three levels of buy-in (qualifying satellites are running now). Victoria will be playing several of these SCOOP events and hoping against hope she’s got a smoking room at the hotel in Madrid…
*** Update on Madrid. Victoria has had a great series, finishing on the bubble of the Heads Up tournament but 3rd in the women’s event (for €4100) and 4th in the unique EPT Champion of Champions tournament (50 EPT champions playing No Limit Holdem) for €10,000. *** Update on SCOOP: Victoria finished 14th in the 4-handed No Limit Holdem event, for $7,965.
